Calvary Wildlife Removal

Why do we do it?

I started this business because I am passionate about protecting and preserving the wildlife that we have in Oklahoma. I am an avid outdoorsman and truly enjoy nature. I want my children and their children and grandchildren to be able to enjoy our natural resources the way that I have. In order to protect wildlife, we must manage the population of different species so there is a balanced ecosystem. This works well in the wild areas of Oklahoma but needs to be balanced when we add in the human factor. Due to the abundance of food and shelter (our trash cans and homes) that animals can find living close to humans, some wildlife have chosen city life. This becomes an issue when they move into our barns, outbuildings, ponds and creeks, garages, attics, or crawl spaces not only destroying the property but possibly spreading disease to humans through their waste. Loss of livestock and pets is another issue that comes along with living alongside wildlife. The disease can be spread to us, our pets, and livestock as well as predatory behavior from coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, opossums, and even skunks, or any of the other wildlife in our state. This is where I come in, I have been a recreational trapper for over 15 years. During this time, I have not only enjoyed helping to keep the ecosystem in check but helping farmers and ranchers to keep predators from killing their livestock and destroying their land.

When I found out that I could be licensed as a nuisance wildlife control operator through the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, I jumped at the opportunity. How I went for so many years not knowing this was a profession baffles me. I can help keep wildlife in the areas they should be, their natural environment, and help out folks who are struggling to keep them out of their homes and away from their animals. I thought, Sign me up! I started this venture in late 2021 with the process of getting the training needed and was able to obtain my license in January 2022.
